Welding inspection and quality control standards and practices in the construction and fabrication industries. Welding inspector certification requirements and functions performed in industry. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in WLD106++ or permission of Instructor.

23003	Costs include WLD Course Fee: $50.00 Notes Notes: Class 23003 meets at Live Online Tuesdays from Aug 26 to Dec 16, 2025 from 6:00PM - 9:30PM Class 23003 also meets at Welding Lab on Tuesday Dec 09, 2025 from 6:00PM - 9:30PM Hybrid classes include face-to-face format on campus at the time listed in the class schedule. The other part will be held online either without a set time to attend or a Live Online session. Students enrolling in a hybrid class acknowledge they already possess the skills described in the Minimum Computer and Technology Requirements at https://www.mesacc.edu/online/get-started for additional information. Class 23003 Meets in the Live Online format for the first 15 weeks, and then participate in a practical hands on lesson during the last week of the term. During finals week, students will meet again live online for the final exam.
