PME203: Pediatric Emergencies for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) Initial Provider in Paramedicine – 1 credit

Designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and manage an infant, child or adolescent in respiratory compromise, circulatory compromise, or cardiopulmonary arrest according to current Pediatric Emergencies for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) and emergency cardiovascular care (ECC) guidelines. Integrates knowledge of basic electrocardiographic rhythm interpretation, pharmacologic agents, and other interventions used in pediatric emergencies. Meets requirements for Pediatric Emergencies for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) certification. Prerequisites: Admission into the Paramedic Education Program.
