Introductory-level clinical preceptorship experience for the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). Emphasis on observational skills and basic interactional skill in a mental health clinical setting with a culturally diverse client population. Focus on developing professional behavior, professional communication, and clinical reasoning in psychosocial context. Opportunities to apply group theory and therapeutic use of self. Prerequisites: Admission to Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Corequisites: OTA102.
