Overview of the health assessment process, including methods of taking health history, physical examination skills, documentation, and health promotion strategies. Emphasis on health promotion across the lifespan among diverse populations, health equity, and community resources. Prerequisites: Admission into the RN to BSN program; current, unencumbered RN license.

  • Class 14375 Labs will be 2 days in-person.
    Class 14375 Online classes do not meet at specific scheduled times. Coursework must be completed and submitted according to deadlines. Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, and internet access. Canvas is used as the learning management system. Student is required to log into the course, in Canvas, on the first day of class and regularly during each week of the course. Discussion questions are posted weekly and require a minimum of 3 posts, on separate days, every week.
