NUC180: Nuclear Medicine Physics and Instrumentation – 4 credits

Principles of safe operation for nuclear medicine imaging and non-imaging equipment, including positron emission tomography (PET) systems and quality control. Prerequisites: Admission to Nuclear Medicine Technology program or certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) [R.T. (N)] or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in Nuclear Medicine.
