MPT260MP: Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) I – 3 credits

Introduction to Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) system programming for Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines using computer graphics for programming and tool path geometry. Computer programming for simultaneous 3-axis CNC machines, fourth and fifth positioning machining centers, and 2-axis turning centers. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MPT130, or MPT130MP, or MPT131, or MPT131MP, or permission of Program Director.
