Hybrid class incorporating both online and classroom activities.

Hybrid Class meets in-person on campus at the designated location, days and times. Additional online work will be required. This type of class is designed for highly motivated, self disciplined, technology-literate students; requires reliable Web and e-mail address for communication and assignments outside of the classroom. The class is a condensed, fast-paced instructional format, with all course competencies being covered in a compressed time-frame while incorporating multiple methods of instruction including in person and online learning. The class will meet in-person, on campus, in the designated classroom, at the specified dates and times indicated.
Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, internet access, a webcam, speaker, and microphone; unless otherwise specified. CANVAS is used as the learning management system.
Students not attending class on the first day of class may be withdrawn.
This class is combined with MKT271 #25582 GateWay Early College High School (GWECHS) section. The combined class may have a total of 24 students.

Hybrid classes combine a reduced amount of scheduled classroom time with required out-of-class learning activities, typically conducted online.

You do NOT need "Cengage Unlimited" as the course does not use MindTap. However, if you have an active Cengage Unlimited subscription, you can use that subscription to access the ebook for this course.

This class meets for an 8-week period during the full length semester. Students should expect an increased amount of work each week during the 8 weeks as compared to the same class offered in the full semester. Students are encouraged to work with an academic advisor to be sure their course load is balanced over the course of a given semester.
