Introduction to concepts of the digital divide and access to technology across communities. Exploration of disparities in technology access and adoption, focusing on the barriers faced by urban and rural communities. Includes but not limited to digital literacy, economic and education factors, and the role of public and private initiatives in closing the gap and proposed strategies for digital access and equity. Prerequisites: None.
