ESL220: Intermediate to Advanced English Pronunciation – 3 credits

High-intermediate to advanced English pronunciation to help students improve their English pronunciation by focusing on sounds, rhythm, stress, intonation, and connected speech. Students practice these features while applying rules and self-monitoring strategies to produce clear communication and build accuracy and confidence. Note: ESL220 may be repeated for a total of six (6) credits. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ESL102, or appropriate ESL course placement score, or permission of Instructor.
