Language-based approach to inquiry. Explores how language frames and influences important issues and questions in todayÆs world. Examines how language and other meaning-making practices shape the circulation of various social and cultural issues. Investigates the process of meaning-making, problem solving, and formulating responses to these issues. Exposes students to the varieties of work within the different concentrations in the field of English Studies. Prerequisites: None.
