Identification, classification, etiology, and treatment of lesions, diseases, and atypical conditions of the oral cavity and supporting structures. Evaluation of abnormal oral conditions and the need for a definitive diagnosis and referral. Apply technologies that are used in the identification of oral lesions. Prerequisites: Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program or permission of Instructor.
