DAN155: Dance Performance II – 1 credit

Continued study of the process and practice of dance performance at advanced beginning level. Note: DAN155 may be repeated for credit. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in DAN150 or permission of Instructor. Corequisites: Any level of any of the following dance technique courses with a DAN prefix: ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, social, or world dance.

      Enrollment in this course requires an audition. Auditions will be held in August and are open to all MCC Students. No prior dance experience is required.

      In addition to weekly class meetings/rehearsals, all students in this course must attend all costume fittings, and technical and dress rehearsals for the production. Students will also participate in at least one full-concert run-through prior to tech week. A production schedule will be provided to students during the first week of classes.
