CON140: Construction Trades: Introduction to Masonry – 9 credits

Fundamentals of masonry including materials, tools, and techniques. Topics include mortar hand tools, power tools, and masonry vertical and horizontal work. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites or Corequisites: [(CON103 or CON271) and (CON102 or (CON102AA, CON102AB, and CON102AC))], or permission of Instructor.

    Class is held in NCC 204 and meets on Thursday from 8 am - 4 pm.

    The required book must be purchased before the start of the first day of class
    This course will be open for registration on October 30, 2025.
    There is a required online access connection of $100 +/- that you will need to purchase the first week of class. This will be further explained on the first day of class by the instructor.
