– 9 credits
Examines the layout and construction procedures for floor systems, including: interpretation of construction drawings and specifications, selection of appropriate types of floor and wall system components; and application of floor and wall system materials. Provides an overview of ceiling and roof construction methods, the different types of roofs used in residential construction and materials, and the use of trusses and conventional roof framing. Includes estimation of materials. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites or Corequisites: [(CON103 or CON271) and (CON102 or (CON102AA, CON102AB, and CON102AC))], or permission of Instructor.

SM Carpentry 2CCL1 - Student must enroll in CON102. CON103, and CON110 at the same time.
There is a required online access connection of $100 +/- that you will need to purchase the first week of class. This will be further explained on the first day of class by the instructor.
