CON106: Foundations of Concrete – 4 credits

Examines the effects of concrete-making materials (aggregates, cements, admixtures, etc.) on the properties of fresh and hardened concrete. Concrete mixture proportioning is discussed along with the calculations and statistical analysis of strength testing. Prerequisites: None.

    Sixteen (16) Week Class
    This class is held in NCC 204 and meets on Thursday from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
    There is a required online access connection of $100 +/- that you will need to purchase the first week of class. This will be further explained on the first day of class by the instructor.
    Dress is long pants, shirt and hard toed shoes for class. Other supplies are provided by the instructor.
