For each scheduled meeting of this class, students have the option of attending in the classroom, participating online, or a combination of both. Students can change their mode of participation weekly or by topic, according to need or preference. However, students are required to attend at least three class sessions in person at some point during the course, on days of their choosing. The online portion of this class requires the use of a computer or mobile device with internet access, a webcam, speakers, and a microphone.

This type of class is designed for highly motivated, self disciplined, technology-literate students; requires reliable Web and e-mail address for communication and assignments outside of the classroom. Students taking this class have access to Gateway's on-campus Advanced Cyber Systems Lab (MA2108) to supplement their learning with hands-on activities and in-person tutoring.
The class is a condensed, fast-paced instructional format, with all course competencies being covered in a compressed time-frame while incorporating multiple methods of instruction including in person and online learning. The class will meet in-person, on campus, in the designated classroom, at the specified dates and times indicated.
Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, internet access, a webcam, speaker, and microphone; unless otherwise specified. CANVAS is used as the learning management system.
Students not attending class on the first day of class may be withdrawn.
