CIS315: Data Protection – 3 credits

Overview of data protection concepts and terminology, and the roles of individuals and businesses with respect to the safeguarding of data and the mitigation of data corruption, data compromise and data loss. Use of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software. Will demonstrate and use data protection frameworks, models and relevant tools. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in CIS156, CIS162AD, CIS215, and (CIS276DA or CIS276DB), or permission of Instructor.
