The process and practice of level IV dance performance. Note: DAN255 may be repeated for credit. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in DAN250 or permission of Instructor. Corequisites: Any level of any of the following dance technique courses with a DAN prefix: ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, social, or world dance.

DAN290AC: Dance Conservatory I – 3 credits

An intensive course focusing on the theory and practice of dance technique including, but not limited to, ballet, modern dance, modern jazz, pilates, yoga and dance performance at the beginning level. Study of repertory and development of movement quality and performance skills. Includes an informal public showing of dance technique and performance skills. Prerequisites: None.
