BPC274: Advanced Server Computer Maintenance: Server+ Prep – 3 credits

Explores the technical aspects of computer servers, including hardware installation and management; operating system configuration, access control and virtualization; and overall diagnostic and resolution of system hardware, software, connectivity, storage and security issues. Includes an emphasis on physical and network data security techniques and implementation of backup techniques to remediate disaster recoveries. Helps prepare students for the CompTIA Server+ examination. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (CIS126++ and MST150), or BPC270, or permission of Instructor.
