This course gives our digital arts students a basic understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other digital art software and foundational concepts.

Hybrid Class meets in-person on campus at the designated location, days and times. Additional online work will be required. This type of class is designed for highly motivated, self disciplined, technology-literate students; requires reliable Web and e-mail address for communication and assignments outside of the classroom. Flex Start Class
Class Meets for Five (5) Weeks

Digital Arts courses require the use of a computer (Multi-core Intel Processor, GPU, 16Gb RAM, 1TB Storage), internet access, a webcam, speakers and microphone. Chromebooks and iPads are not supported.

First Eight (8) Week Class
While it is not required, if you wish to work on your assignments on a home computer/laptop, you will need to purchase a student subscription from Adobe Creative Cloud. Your computer will also need to meet Adobe's system requirements. This software is not required for this class because a campus digital media lab is available for student use outside class hours. Purchasing information will be available in Canvas when the course starts or by contacting the instructor and is expected to cost $19.99 per month.
