Chemical, biological, biochemical, and psychological processes as a foundation for the understanding of alterations in health. The structural and functional pathophysiology of alterations in health; selected therapeutics considered. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in BIO202 or BIO205, or permission of Instructor.

      The first day of class for HCR 240 is a mandatory orientation at the South Mountain campus. This will be the only time students will be required to come to the campus. Orientation is on Monday October 3, 2022, 11 am - 12:30 pm in the Computer Commons - TC 242. Students are required to have paid for their Elsevier access or be prepared to purchase their online access the day of orientation. If students fail to attend orientation they will be removed from the course.
