General Chemistry II (CHM152) 3 Credits

A study of the chemical properties of the major groups of elements, equilibrium theory, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and other selected topics. Note: Completion of prerequisites within the last two years recommended. Completion of CHM152LL required to meet the Natural Science requirement. Student may receive credit for only one of the following: CHM152 and CHM152LL, or CHM152AA. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in [(CHM150 or CHM151) and CHM151LL], or CHM150AA, or CHM151AA, or permission of the Instructor, or Department or Division Chair.

      All of your assignments and work will be internet based without set meeting days or times to attend. Students and faculty interact with Canvas via email, video, and threaded discussions. A lot of your work will be self-paced, but there are establish deadlines and expectations.
      Class 17305 LEC is offered concurrently with CHM 152, 16744 LAB (ONLINE);student MUST register for both Class 17305 LEC, and CHM 152 LAB, 16744 at the same time.
      Students must take CHM152LL for the Natural Science Credit.
      Students are required to download and use Respondus LockDown Browser + Monitor which requires a webcam and microphone. Chromebooks do not support this software.
      Student is responsible to access their Maricopa “Student Center” for enrollment alerts regarding: Financial Aid, Payment Plan, and “DROPPED” FROM CLASS ISSUES.
      Note: Financial issues must be resolved before the class start date. Student cannot attend class if tuition is not paid prior to class start date.
