Introductory Biology for Allied Health (BIO156) 4 Credits

An introductory biology course for allied health majors with an emphasis on humans. Topics include fundamental concepts of cell biology, histology, microbiology, and genetics. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in RDG100, or RDG100LL, or higher, or eligibility for CRE101. One year of high school or one-semester of college level chemistry is strongly recommended.

      Class 11047 LEC is offered concurrently with BIO 156, 11048 LAB (ONLINE); student MUST register for both BIO 156 LEC, Class 11047 and BIO 156 LAB, 11048 at the same time.
      Students are required to download and use Respondus LockDown Browser + Monitor which requires a webcam and microphone. Chromebooks do not support this software
