Online: All of your assignments and work will be internet based without set meeting days or times to attend. Students and faculty interact with Canvas via email, video, and threaded discussions. A lot of your work will be self-paced, but there are established deadlines and expectations.
Graphic Design is all around us. We see posters, websites, art, product packaging, billboards, and brands everywhere we look. But underneath all graphic design there is method and structure. We learn the rules, then we break them! In ART181 you will use pencil and paper along with Adobe graphic design software to create visually compelling work that can be applied to your artistic or commercial portfolio. ART181 is a must for anyone going into the field of visual communications.
    • Additional Class Notes: Due to COVID related campus lab closures, students will be provided an Adobe Creative Cloud account tied to their MEID username, for home use on PC or Mac computers (smartphone or tablet mobile devices are not supported) during the duration of this course.
