Introduction to Ayurvedic Principles (WED183) 2 Credits

Introduction to Ayurveda: "the science of life"; a complete system of balancing the body, mind and spirit, originating from ancient India. Introduction to foundational Ayurvedic principles, health philosophy and self-assessment of basic constitution. Application of basic health and self-care practices such as food selection and preparation, exercise and movement, renewal and restoration activities, environmental influences to promote health and well-being. Prerequisites: None. Note: WED183 may be repeated for a total of six (6) credits.
