Establishes a foundation for understanding the fundamental natural and social processes that give rise to the world we live in. Explores resources and cycles important to maintaining the viability of the planet for all living organisms. Evaluates critical perspectives on how to achieve a sustainable world.     This class meets for an 8-week period during the full length semester.
