Introduction of Nurse of the Future competencies as a foundational framework for development of the professional nurse. Basic care concepts, the nursing process, and clinical reasoning are utilized to meet the needs of adult and older adult patients. Prerequisites: Admission into the Nursing Program.

  • Student Success Orientation is held on first day of class on 1/16/26.
    Theory class is on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to approximately 5:00 PM, depending on exams.
    Lab is typically held on Thursday or Friday, students can expect to attend one skills lab per week. In addition to lab hours, students will complete clinical hours, to be explained in individual class schedule.
