EQS220: Equine Reproduction – 3 credits

Reproductive anatomy and physiology; care and management of the breeding stallion; breeding procedures and artificial insemination. Care of pregnant mare; foaling procedures. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in EQS105, EQS120 or permission of Department or Division.

      Students in EQS 220 will be required to attend off-campus clinic sessions as announced by instructor. Field trips will be held during the second 8 weeks of class.
