BPC170: A+ Exam Prep: Computer Hardware Configuration and Support – 3 credits

Explore technical aspects of personal computers, including system components, installation, system configuration, peripheral devices, and notebooks. Emphasis placed on hardware installation, maintenance, mobile devices, and hardware troubleshooting. Helps prepare students for the CompTIA A+ examinations.

    • Notes: HYBRID CLASS. Class meets in-person on campus on the designated days and times. Additional work will be required online.
      Class 31761 costs include BPC Course Fee: $30
    • Additional Notes: This course prepares students for the CompTIA A+ Core Certification Exam by teaching them to configure, troubleshoot and repair PC hardware. Students are encouraged to take BPC170 and BPC270 concurrently.
      BPC170 requires an online subscription at an additional cost of approximately $120 and will require additional computer time per week. Details will be provided on the first day of class.
