Work experience with preschool age children in early care and education settings. Forty (40) hours of designated work per credit. Note: EED261 may be repeated for a total of six (6) credit hours. Prerequisites: Permission of Department or Division.

    Forty (40) hours of designated work per credit.
    Required Materials: Digital recording device (computer, smartphone, tablet, webcam, etc.) capable of recording audio and video. If you do not have access to any one of these devices, contact ecehd.internships@riosalado.edu for options. Reliable internet access for viewing course materials and submitting assignments. Students will submit video assignments through RioLearn using the instructions provided within each lesson.
    IMPORTANT: To enroll in this course, students need to send an email to: ecehd.internships@riosalado.edu. The email needs to contain the following information: student name, student ID number, contact phone number and course prefix/number AND preferred start date of the course for which you are requesting admittance. Within 3 business days you will be contacted by the Early Childhood/Human Development Internship/Portfolio Team. Please note: every effort will be made to accommodate your requested start date; however, we cannot guarantee that your requested start date will be available. Enrollment in this course is limited. It is important to contact us as soon as possible to request enrollment in this course.
