Fundamental concepts of promoting a safe, but challenging learning environment. Establishing and maintaining safety procedures in the early childhood setting. Emphasis on indoor and outdoor equipment and activities, risk analysis, accident, evacuation and emergency plans, regulations, regulatory agencies and resources, current topics, and innovative practices.
