LAS131: Legal Writing – 3 credits

The use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling in the construction of sentences and the development of paragraphs. Use of case briefs to study effective writing and analytical techniques. Analysis and application of the writing process to produce well-written documents commonly used in the practice of law. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites or Corequisites: LAS109 and (BPC110 or CIS105 or permission of Program Director).
