Data interpretation, equipment operation and therapeutic procedures specified for the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) examination. Quality control and therapeutic procedures. Pharmacologic agents and treatment of cardiopulmonary collapse. Pulmonary rehabilitation and home care. Prerequisites: Admission into the Respiratory Care program or permission of the Program Director.

    Hybrid classes incorporate multiple methods of instruction including in person and online learning. Attendance in scheduled class sessions are mandatory. Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, internet access, a webcam, speaker, and microphone; unless otherwise specified. CANVAS is used as the learning management system.
