Pharmacologic principles related to the treatment of acute and chronic pulmonary diseases. Information on mucokinetics, anti-inflammatory, antiasthmatic and anti-infective agents to include mechanism of action, general drug information, side effects, and respiratory care considerations. Prerequisites: Admission into the Respiratory Care program or permission of the Program Director.
