RAD214: Digital Image Acquisition and Display II – 2 credits

Imparts an understanding of the image acquisition errors related to components, principles and operation of digital imaging systems found in diagnostic radiology. Principles of digital system quality assurance and maintenance are presented. The concept of "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA) as it relates to digital imaging systems is also covered. Prerequisites: Admission to the Medical Radiography Program.
