RAD105: Radiation Physics and Instrumentation – 2 credits

Basic knowledge of atomic structure and terminology, the nature and characteristics of radiation, x-ray production, and the fundamentals of photon interactions with matter. Establishes a knowledge base in radiographic and mobile equipment, as well as exposure controls. Prerequisites: Admission to the Radiologic Technology program.
