Introductory-level fieldwork experience in a pediatric context. Emphasis on demonstrating professional behavior, professional communication, clinical observation skills, selecting age-appropriate therapeutic activities, and applying therapeutic use of self with a culturally diverse pediatric client population. Prerequisites: Admission to the Occupational Therapy Assistant program and a grade of C or better in OTA157. Corequisites: OTA217.
