NUR404: Advanced Nursing Capstone
– 4 credits
Capstone project that provides the baccalaureate nursing student with the opportunity to assess, identify, propose, and present an evidence-based project that addresses an issue significant to nursing practice. The project will synthesize knowledge from coursework and experience. The capstone project will be under the guidance and in collaboration with program faculty and a preceptor from the facility or entity. Prerequisites: Admission into the RN to BSN program; current, unencumbered RN license.

- Notes: Class 30472 There will be field experiences as part of this course which will be detailed by the instructor.
Class 30472 Online classes do not meet at specific scheduled times. Coursework must be completed and submitted according to deadlines. Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, and internet access. Canvas is used as the learning management system. Student is required to log into the course, in Canvas, on the first day of class and regularly during each week of the course. Discussion questions are posted weekly and require a minimum of 3 posts, on separate days, every week.
