MPT255: Solid Design 3D Printing – 4 credits

3D printing/additive manufacturing with various additive manufacturing materials. Model orientation for optimal printing and 3D layer slicing, infill control, and orientation. Foundation and support structure design. Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Stereolithography Apparatus (SLA), and metal 3D printing. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ((MPT111 or MPT111MP) and MPT250), or permission of Instructor.
