ICE250: Mammography – 3 credits

Screening and diagnostic mammography. Includes anatomy, positioning, equipment, patient history, clinical breast examination, and image evaluation related to mammography. Breast pathology along with advanced testing and treatments, including other imaging modalities. Prerequisites: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) certification or permission of Program Director.

  • Mandatory Positioning Simulation offsite on Saturday November 7th (1/2 Day). Clinicals to be arranged if needed.
    Hybrid classes incorporate multiple methods of instruction including in person and online learning. Attendance in scheduled class sessions are mandatory. Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, internet access, a webcam, speaker, and microphone; unless otherwise specified. CANVAS is used as the learning management system.
