CAP220: The Counselor in a Multicultural Society – 3 credits

Covers current theories and research on culture, race and ethnicity, gender and other specific aspects of cultural diversity in a multicultural society. Explores themes, theories, topics and research related to power, privilege and oppression in the United States as applied in the counseling discipline. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites or Corequisites: CAP120 or permission of Instructor.
