PHI103: Introduction to Logic – 3 credits

Comprehensive introduction to logical reasoning. Exploration of informal logic, including common logical fallacies, delving into symbolic logic to analyze and construct valid arguments using formal methods such as truth tables, truth trees, or proofs. Emphasis on developing critical thinking skills essential for evaluating arguments in a variety of contexts. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ENG101, or ENG107, or equivalent.
