Preparation for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot Aeronautical Knowledge test. Topics include regulations, airspace classification, aeronautical charts, airport operations, weather interpretation, aircraft loading and performance, radio communications, aeronautical decision-making, small Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) flight operations, and maintenance procedures. Prerequisites: None. Note: Students must complete the required UAS flight lessons to satisfactorily complete the course.
