First-Year Composition (ENG102) 3 Credits

Emphasis on rhetoric and composition with a focus on persuasive, research-based writing and understanding writing as a process. Developing advanced college-level writing strategies through three or more writing projects comprising at least 4,000 words in total. Note: Through three or more research-based writing projects comprising at least 4,000 words (final drafts), the student will further demonstrate an understanding of writing as a process per the course competencies.
