Introduction to forensic anthropology. Survey of the role of forensic anthropologist, from the crime scene to the courtroom. Understand how a forensic anthropologist can determine life history of an individual. Contributions of forensic anthropology to crime scene and other legal investigations.       piano instruction focusing on standard repertoire from the Romantic and 20th Century eras. Over the
      course of the semester, students will receive 8 2hour repertoire classes with 30 minutes of individualized
      instruction per class. Students will also receive 4 60 minute group classes including a juried performance. Intended as a continuous course (2 sessions in fall and 2 sessions in spring), students will potentially develop a build a body of work suitable for future college auditions.
      Course Expectations:
      As a performance focused class, students should demonstrate a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for their selected repertoire. Students will demonstrate progress on a Romantic and 20th Century work throughout the session. Students must perform both pieces at the final juried performance at the end of the session.       This class is a very active hands-on class, with personal one-on-one coaching, that can benefit both the beginner and intermediate lifter. If you are interested in learning or improving the exercises commonly used in CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting, this class is for you. It will cover a variety of areas including: how to assess and correct mobility/flexibility issues, the benefits of Olympic style weightlifting for health and fitness, the proper technique and progression for all of the movements leading to the Olympic-style lifts, performing the Olympic lifts, supplemental exercises (e.g. front squats, back squats, overhead squats, etc.), as well as cues and corrections to improve technique. Introduction to caving will be conducted in real active caves. Students will have ample time to explore a large cave. Students will learn cave exploration, Leave No trace principles, equipment use, cave ecology, lighting systems and cave conservation. Students will spend one night camping at a campground.
