Clinical Immunohematology and Immunology (MDL244) 6 Credits

Principles of immunity and immunologic testing. Causes of disorders of the immune system. Study of blood group antigens, antibodies, and genetics. Understanding of donor blood collection, component preparation, and transfusion therapies. Performance of testing techniques and evaluation of data.
